Boulder Fire Victim Fundraiser

As you know, the Marshall Fire burned hundreds of homes to the ground, leaving thousands of our neighbors without a home and without much more than the clothes on their back.

We partnered with Outside, Elevations Credit Union and you (members of the Colorado community and beyond) to put $27,900.00 towards immediate relief for victims of the fires that devastated Boulder in late December.

100% of the money raised went to Boulder County fire relief.

    How we did it

    1) Vafels connected with Elevations Foundation, ensuring that our donations, combined with other community contributions would be matched by the Foundation, up to $200,000.

    2) Outside committed to matching collections made by this Vafels community fundraiser.
    3) $13,950 came through Vafels and every penny of it went to this cause.
    4) Outside matched that, putting us at $27,900.

    5) Our contribution helped Elevations Foundation reach over $750,000 in total community contributions, where the first $200,000 was matched.
We went beyond my wildest expectations and we used the Supertraining x Vafels concept to do it by hosting a cycling event tied to this philanthropic cause.
Learn more about Supertraining x Vafels and join us on January 30th for a bike ride and a run from Flatirons Subaru right here in Boulder, Colorado, our home.
    Thank you.
