We like to describe these fruit forward Ethiopian coffees in terms of peaches. Think of washed process coffees like the perfectly ripe, crisp and flavorful peach. On the contrast, natural processed coffees are like that peach that is beyond ripe. That peach that when you bite into it there are more rich developed notes of fruitiness and where the juices run down your chin.
About this coffee:
This coffee was produced by Birhanu Wote, a small grower in the southern district of Gedeb in the Gedeo Zone within the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Region, Ethiopia. Birhanu's farm is 15 ha and has a capacity of 19,000 kg of exportable green coffee. The coffee was grown using Organic practices (but is not certified as such) and dry milled by Tesfaye Roba Dry Coffee Mill in Gedeb.
