We were first introduced to the Liège Wafel — a brioche-based dough and pearl sugar infused snack — as cyclists racing in Belgium where wafel carts line the streets. Unlike any waffle you’ve ever had, Vafels are a modern, vegan take on a centuries-old tradition.

Blueberry Liège Vafels are infused with fresh blueberries and steeped earl grey tea, balancing the sweetness of our imported Belgian pearl sugar in this yeast-risen dough.

Handmade in Colorado from carefully selected organic and plant-based ingredients. All Vafels Liège waffles are 100% vegan.

    Ingredients

    Blueberry Vafels: Wheat flour, water, organic brown sugar, organic sustainably sourced palm fruit oil, pearl sugar, blueberries, organic whole ground flaxseed, vanilla extract, salt, earl grey tea, yeast.
    How to eat

    Vafels are pre-baked and ready-to-eat. We recommend them toasted or at ambient temperature. Some of the most die-hard Vafel enthusiasts like to put them in the microwave for 10" or eat them straight out of the freezer on a hot day.

    If you heat a Liège Vafel, just be careful because our caramelized pearl sugar gets hot hot hot!

    Dress up your Liège Vafels with a drizzle of your favorite nut butter, sliced avocado, or cut one in half and make a breakfast sandwich with it!

    Warning: breakfast sandwiches may disappear faster than anticipated.
